Off-grid comms.
On your terms.
Mode-X Mesh is a long-range LoRa mesh network built for the UK - encrypted messaging, live telemetry and resilient routing that keep working when phone networks, broadband and mains power don't.
True mesh routing
Every node relays. Multi-hop pathing with link-quality scoring finds routes around obstacles, dead zones and failures - no infrastructure required.
End-to-end encryption
AES-CCM on every private message. Servers store ciphertext only - even we can't read your DMs. Public channels stay public by choice.
Geo channels
Nodes auto-join their town and region channels from position data -
Birmingham talks to Birmingham, the Midlands to the Midlands, and
everyone meets on general.
Smart uplinks
Use normal Wi-Fi or phone BLE tethering when internet is available. The mesh still works offline, and internet features resume when a valid path returns. Local Pi/private server modes are development roadmap items, not required for normal use.
Smart node roles
Pick a role - Companion, Relay, Repeater, Noticeboard and more - or let Smart Auto choose. Nodes that can't sustain a heavy role step back automatically and tell you why.
sms Say hello on general
Every node hears the general channel. Send ping
and the network bot answers with live mesh stats - the fastest way to
confirm your node has a working path to the wider network.
